Good afternoon! I am a literate to advanced roleplayer who’s currently searching for a partner who’d be interested in a MxF romantic roleplay. I had in mind that my character would be slightly older than your’s, he’s well established, very wealthy, and has lived most of his life alone. Somehow or another he meets your character (perhaps she comes to work for him in some way, or they meet in public) and they begin to form a friendly relationship, the only problem being that your character is already in a relationship- but it’s a very unhappy, unfulfilling one. As time goes on they struggle to decide what to do. So basically a very angsty, dramatic story! If this interests you or you have your own idea, I’d love to hear from you!

Platonic Found Family

Good morning/evening/afternoon! I’m looking for something that’s a bit different than what I’d usually make a request for- as I’m currently in the mood for a platonic story. I really would like to combine the elements of found family/father figure into this. As I’ve stated, this will be a platonic story with no romance whatsoever involved between our characters. We can include romance in the story, however it would be through interactions with side characters we can play for each other. The main focus would be the friendship and platonic relationship between our two characters.

I’m thinking you could play a younger man who does not have a strong father figure in his life (or maybe a bad one) and my guy would be an older gentleman who never had children. The two are brought together and end up going through some stuff together. I would really like to give this a historical setting, and had most in mind to set it in Britain during World War 2. I thought that perhaps our characters share a workplace and perhaps even are in the Home Guard together, so they’re spending a lot of time with one another and your character starts to look up to mine. Perhaps they even go into the military together later on.

It would just be a wholesome story, with elements of angst and drama added in to keep things interesting. If you’re interested in this at all, please let me know! I’m literate to advanced, 21+, and I have several years of experience!

Hello and good evening! I am a literate/advanced writer, 21+, with several years of roleplaying experience under my belt. What I’m looking for at the moment is a roleplay where we both play as male characters in a story that will have elements of romance, drama, and angst. There are several different settings we could do for this story, ranging from medieval, to western, to modern times. The main point of the plot, however, is two men who become close friends and through their close friendship unexpectedly realize feelings for each other. I enjoy historical time periods just for the added drama, but modern is fine too!

A few ideas I had are:

Medieval (two knights, a guard and a royal, etc)

Wild West (two outlaws, a sheriff and his deputy)

Civil War (two soldiers)

WW2 (two soldiers)

Modern (coworkers, neighbors, buddies)

The New Secretary (Historical Romance)

The year was 1960, a time filled with hope for a bright new future and the leaving behind of past sorrows that had nearly plunged the world into despair. It was a world for young people with bright faces and new ideas to come forward and seize the day for their own- and yet Muse A felt himself too old to get on board with the new way of things. He wasn’t an old man- most would barely considered him to have been middle aged- but the life he’d lived had made him feel a bit world weary and he struggled to adapt to the swiftly changing ways of the world around him. He had fought in the Second World War, and afterwards had resumed his studies and followed his love of history and art into a profession.

He had made a career for himself in travels to distant lands and digging up old treasures to be studied and displayed in some of the most prestigious museums and collections in the world. When this phase of his career had ended, he traveled the globe lecturing and teaching at various universities and centers of learning to share his wealth of wisdom on anthropology and archaeology. As the years passed this too seemed to grow a bit dull, and so after all the years of vagabond living he found himself in a more permanent situation in England. After traveling from Calcutta to Versailles, cloudy, rainy England didn’t seem so merry as it otherwise might have- but Muse A tried to be happy in the work he found as the director of a large museum. Here among the fossils and the books and the artwork he could study and teach to his heart’s content- but despite this he couldn’t help but feel that he was somewhat of a fossil himself. He felt older than his years, and since he had devoted himself entirely to his work he had never built much of a personal life.

Muse B was completely different, however. She was young- several years behind Muse A- and seeming just to have began her life. She was attending college, making friends, going out on the town, and generally be the very embodiment of the spirit of the 60s. As a student, she needed a job to support herself while he went through school. With the help of one of her teachers she gained an interview with director of a museum (Muse A) to be his personal Secretary.

Muse A wasn’t convinced he needed a secretary, but since Muse B’s teacher was an old friend he decided to be gracious and give her an interview. This is where our story begins!
