Hey seniors so basically am getting very lower branches in IIT Ropar like metallurgy and else.

My goal is that is that I want to grind hard in the college in first year so can I get any circuital branch ( EE , ECE , MECHANICAL or CSE) so my doubts are

1. Is this much transition possible?

2. What is the minimum cgpa required so can I perform this transition?

3. How hard I have to work to maintain that cgpa like give me example based on my jee prep.

4. how is college life at IIT Ropar?

5. what are the placement scenarios in both type of branches lower and core?

6. any extra things you would suggest so can I think about them?

Me kbhi kbhi drop ka sochta hu but then I just keep changing my mind and sochta hu is rat race se nikal jaunga , what's best for me?

Basically we know that ki yeh ranks ko itna affect nahi krega kyuki max to max agr 300 log bhi disqualify hote hai toh us se lower tier (8-17k) walo ko kuch farak nhi pdega

The thing is that ki logo ko dar lgna chahiye cheating krne se ki agar vo aisa kuch unfair mean use krte hai toh unhe disqualify kiya ja skta hai. Not only disqualify but they should be banned too , from any other govt. Level examination .

Agar aaj steps nahi liye toh ye log kal phir se cheating krenge or isme nukasan humara hi hai because it's not about our year it's about humne 1,2,3 jitne bhi saal ghis ghis ke mehnat kri hai uska fal ye sirf un 6 ghanto me le jate hai and hum dekhte reh jate hai.

Some people say they will fail in college and bla bla type shit , arey bhai logo ko IITs dekhne ko nhi milta hai unhone vo chij toh experience Krli jo ek admi kai saal ghisne ke bad bhi achieve nhi kr pata or kuch na kuch toh vo le hi lega IIT se.

So I scored 97.93%ile in JEE Mains (99+ in both physics + maths but chemistry sucks as always🤡)

Advance went really well but made so much silly mistake like bhai me correct wale me incorrect bharke aagya 🤡 mock test me incorrect pucha hota tha vo galat ho jata tha is bar correct pucha tha jldi jldi me incorrect pdh liya (🤡 this is me) or bhi 3-4 the but still it's my fault obviously and silly ko saturate kr pana is impossible so yeah

Advance - 113 marks (16k rank)

Subject wise - maths(52) could have gone 65+ but pta nhi mere dimag pe konsa kutta chad gya tha itna silly krke aaya hu | physics (38) , 40+ hi expect Kiya tha kyuki 12th brbad thi toh thik hi gyi | chemistry (23) 🤡 haan ye me hi hu

Over all positive 131 🤡 (18 negative khaali)

So meri chemistry barbad hai bs organic chhod ke vo bhi thik thak hi hai itni kuch khas nhi ye niche Wale mostly chapters mene chhode huye hai

but I feel yrr mene JAN attempt ke itne gande result ko dekh ke pdhna chhod sa diya tha mene almost 1 mahine ka break liya (22 days precisely) uske bad boards or unme bhi me timepass krta tha ek rat phle pdhke jata tha and baki vacation ki tarah enjoy krta tha (92%)

uske bad april attempt aaya jo kuch khas nhi huya (97.5%ile) , I was using mostly my mobile in those 4 months from January till may thoda bhut pdhta tha (2-3 ghante)

I could have given my best , mene koi ref books bhi use nhi kri , not even a single book I touched in my entire journey

So kya ye gamble hoga , kya me improve kr skta hu

Bhai it isn't correct because mere jaise logo ne dar ke mare abhi bhi score chck nhi kiya hai and my JEE Advanced actually went very well so abhi bhi isme changes hoge and also not everyone out their know about mog so bhut se baccho ne waise chck nhi kra hoga 🥀😭
