my 5yo mostly eats vegetarian and his iron came back low, what worked for your kids?
My wife is a vegetarian and I eat meat, so we let our son decide for his own, he mostly tends to eat more veggie except for chicken nuggets ofc (picky eating phase I assume), and I can see he's aspiring to be a vegetarian as well like his mother haha, but his last checkup flagged low on iron. his ped suggested adding a supplement on top of diet changes and we're open to it, just want something clean and sugar free. what has actually worked for you guys?
