This year stream training is happening before or after joining ? for aase offcampus. I am little confused

Those who have already joined this year can someone tell me was passport mandatory. I have applied for passport , but in my 10th marksheet my father's name contains honorific due to which problem has arise and not sure whether it will be ready till joining or not . It will be helpful if someone can share their exp.
