My mom hired a PI to stalk me when I left her and went no contact as an adult
I found this out because she shamelessly told me that years later when I returned to her. Of course she has no shame about this because in her eyes she’s just a victim as usual. A victim of me going no contact. Oh no! It couldn’t be that she’s a toxic garbage human being I went away from for my own safety and sanity. No it’s that she was a scared little worried mother victim and that’s why she was forced to pay a private investigator with no morals to hunt me down like prey and tell her where I newly worked, where I newly lived, and whatever else.
I just can’t help but think if you are a parent hiring someone to stalk your adult child, that’s not normal at all and there’s something wrong with you. I refuse to believe that’s a normal response to being cut off by an adult. Especially after you were the one abusing them.
Pi’s should be illegal. There should be laws that protect victims. Instead, all abusers need is a spare thousands of dollars to hire a stranger to hunt their victim down. Stalking is harassment and bullying. It doesn’t matter if the stalker doesn’t approach the victim or touch or speak to them.
There’s nothing normal or loving, motherly and caring about a mother shamelessly hiring a stranger to hunt down their adult child just for setting a boundary and wanting to get away from them.
