(New Author) I think I found my community… need feedback

Hi Bean here. Author of @BeingTheory on IG. Long story less long, published my first comic in 2023 (yes I’m late to Reddit) while attending engineering school.

My goal is to write the stories that live rent free in my head. I became an engineer to make enough money to pay some of you fine folk and build something substantial enough to dethrone the current monopoly on the western comic collective consciousness.

I graduated in December so I don’t quite have the cumulative money yet. What I do have is a SUPER unique story loosely based on some fundamental life lessons I learned.

Style: Steven universe meets midnight gospel meets boondocks meets Calvin and Hobbs. Colored line work with mostly blank fills. You can sample my panels on my IG! https://www.instagram.com/beingtheory

MY POINT: I’m working on remastering my book (I could swing a few(very few) bones if anyone wants to help). And I’d like to use this post as a suggestion/review inbox for those who have sampled my work 😤

My people. I’m home
