Wondering if anyone has a sibling like this?
I am genuinely wondering if someone out there has a sibling like this and what they do to shut down the behavior or if it is a condition or what? I’m out of what to do at this point. Since her twenties she has to turn everything discussed into something sexual. In text, conversation, with people she barely knows… to the point where I’m worried going in public with her because of what could come out of her mouth. It’s not just a casual sexual innuendo either, it’s extremely vulgar and majority of people can’t believe what just came out of her mouth. Last weekend while with our mom she continued to ask about my parents sex life over and over even after asked to stop. She will continue to circle back to it if she doesn’t get the rise she wants. She makes fun of everything and everyone. And if you say the wrong thing or don’t go along with her immaturity she will resort to name calling and an unbearable attitude. She is always the victim. I had a very different past from the life I live now. If she is meeting my friends or coworkers for the first time she will ask them if I’ve told them about my twenties and if I haven’t she will bring up my past, only to laugh about it and see what their reaction will be. I have asked many times for her to not bring it up since it was an extremely low point in my life yet it continues to happen. She also recently relapsed with alcohol and it only has seem to escalate things. For context she is 40 years old. Don’t know what to do anymore.
