Triangle loom weaving issue: how to make the top not wishy washy

I've recently finally started using the triangle loom I bought last year and I've been having a lot of fun, but I've noticed I have a problem where the top edge is very very loose and I'm not sure how to resolve it. I thought it was that I was weaving too loosely, but I tried to weave it really tight with my second piece and I got the same issue. Am I just still not doing it tight enough, or is there a trick I'm missing? This one is half a baby blanket so I'm hoping I can hid it when I seam them together but I'd rather do it better going forward lol. I'm using continuous weaving if that makes a difference.

Thank you for any help!

also cat tax, my weaving supervisor who is very mad I'm in his territory (the mudroom) and paying attention to something that isn't him

Made my first silksong embroidery! A little pilgrim to brighten my day!

Taking a break from gift crafting to make a little few things for myself lol. But I like the way it's come out! Now he can hang out with me while I work until I get a few friends made for him.

Did a little moss around the feet and wings because I messed up tracing onto the fabric and I'm worried the ink isn't as water soluble as I was promised lmao

Small success!

It's a little thing, but I made a shrub drink (a drink syrup made from sugar, fruit, and vinegar) at home this past week because I wanted to try it out. I was able to use leftover fruit and herbs that might have gone off otherwise to make the syrup, and I used and old pasta sauce jar to store it. The recipe said to discard the fruit once the cold mastication process was finished but I've been eating it over oatmeal for breakfast instead and it's tasted great. It's little, but I'm proud I got to make something from scratch without any waste at all left over at the end of it!
