Saw the lyrics to this song and I thought it fit my two characters well! My character Beliagof was raised as an acolyte of Lathander, who had her memories as a necromancer erased. She was the ward of Dranvel, who she disabled irrevocably in an accident that caused her haste escape from her temple, and he became an inquisitor to track her down. Their fates are tied into my story and both of them are basically manipulated by various gods, so basically they are a doomed pairing. I like to think the lyrics reflect his wavering faith in her and how he is pushed by an outside force to take revenge despite their history and him not knowing the full story.
