Week 1 and what I have learned

Week 1 and what I have learned

Well started of super strong then fell off hard

Things I’ve tried but ultimately decided that wasn’t going to work was using the medium pillows vs the small. The medium was just way too big and sitting on my upper lip weirdly.

I have decided that if I end up going to bed late or I can’t get comfortable with the mask by 2am I do not bother and deal with my usual tiredness bc Thursday night-Friday morning when I tried and didn’t truly go to bed until 4am to wake up at 8:30 for work I was EXHAUSTED.

I have learned how to wear the head strap so it’s not too tight or too loose (still getting comfortable).

I have bought switched from Vaseline to lanolips original 101 ointment balm for around my nose and so far I haven’t had as bad of a skin reaction (yay!)

I have also changed my ramp pressure from a 4 to a 6 to get to my pressure of 8 and that seems to be working so far.

I’ve had a lot of things changing and doing different all at once health wise so I’m just trying to be kind to myself with everything going on.

Anyways. Just thought I’d share.

Finally Taking care of myself

Hello all 😄

At the age of 29 and before I turn 30 this November, I finally decided to take my health (mentally and physically) more seriously.
I got a PCP early in the year to finally take care of my HBP
Got a sleep study done
Seeing a nutritionist
After 3 years of battling myself over starting medication, I've finally decided to even schedule a Psych appointment, and will be staring anti-depression medication soon
And finally got a CPAP for my apnea and already had my first night session with it (went okay, my nose is just sore...)

There's been a lot of changes this year with a lot of information coming my way that I'm still trying to process and apply it all, but I am hopeful this will all make a huge difference in my energy, depression, anxiety and just my overall mood and life.

Just wanted to share some good and hopeful news 💜 And to let anyone know it's never too late to start your health journey.

First Night Cpap

New member here of this subreddit and of a cpap machine!

Got the Airfit P10 and my god my nose is so sore 😭

I tried the XS pilliows but those feel like stabbing me in the nose. I thought my biggest problem would’ve been my nose feeling like I’ve rubbed it raw so I put the thinnest amount of Vaseline around my skin.

Does the soreness get better over time? But yay a good score 😅👍🏾

Smart Ring Beginner!

Hello everyone!
One - I'm so glad I found this subreddit because I've learned SO MUCH
two - I also am very appreciative of all the ring comparison posts. Thank you to all the people that took time to do that 🫶🏾

I would like some insight and help for picking my first ring... If I get a refund from my UH kickstarter 😒 since they want to play games about shipping...

Anyways, I already have the apple watch series 11 and so far I've been really liking it and I've been using the Apple Health more recently, I just hate wearing it to sleep and on my days off of work and since a lot of the rings have been updated and new gens have come out I would just like to know what would be the best purchase...

I would really like to get a ring mainly for:

- sleep tracking especially if it tracks some heart rate and possibly sleep disturbances

- readiness for the day and if it has recommendations

- stress

- heart rate and if it can truly detect before I get sick would be a bonus

- and if it could sync with apple health or at least talk to each other but not a total deal breaker

Subscriptions are not a problem for me if the product and information is pretty good.

and if Ultrahuman Pro Ring is the best option I will just buy it through the website so hopefully shipping is better.

Thanks in advance!
