Wedding in 6 months

Hello, I am a lurker on this sub for quite some time.

My wedding is in 6 mths and I want to finally have consistency with my training. I stopped going to gym, lost a lot of muscles and gained some fat (158cm, 58kg). For the last 3 months I picked up running which I really enjoy and I run 3x times a week in total 20kms per week.

I really want to tone, and lose that fat and have flatter stomach. I tried calorie counting but after a month I stop and start binging again. Does anyone have some tips or can give advice for better diet but maybe without tracking calories, and should I incorporate 2x full body strength training with running? And is it possible to lose cca 5-8kgs in 6 months?

Partner vented to his mom

Hello,

1st time on this sub. Me and my partner are engaged to be married and had a huge fight about where we are going to live in the future. Long story short, he told his mom, and she called me and proceeded to insult me in every way possible because I don’t want to live in her apartment (not with her). Basically told me I’m a gold digger and ungrateful.
How do I proceed in this situation? I love my partner, and he is very sorry, wants to make amends but I really started to hate his mother. Idk if I’m projecting but I’m really on edge to breakup. I don’t want to see or hear my MIL but my partner insists I should forget it all and move on because “she loves me and she is sorry”.Idk if even if this is a right sub for this kind of rant.
