Trip price not disclosed prior to arrival and was doubled from prior identical trips (NYC)
I recently requested an Uber to JFK (frequent trip) and noticed the price wasn't disclosed but chalked it up to me fumbling around due to trying to get out the door on time.
The driver was very nice, helped me with my luggage, I tipped him very well (per usual) and once I arrived at the airport realized that the trip price itself (minus the tip) had doubled from prior trips as recently as a month ago.
Uber messaging is no support, just canned answers. Might have to take taxis from now on.
