All I saw was a barely salvageable, thrifted Sunny. But when Mom saw the big eyes looking up at her with the glittery golden makeup, she saw potential.
Sunny's eyes were described as "fairy-like" and I couldn't, as hard as I tried, see anything magical about her. I am so proud of my mom for going forwards and saving her anyways.
Mom did up almost everything on this doll! The homemade dress! The paint! The hair! The wings! The staff! The stand! And even when she was finished, she ran out to the mall because Sunny "needed" a crown for her head. At this point in the process, she's all giddy and excited and talking all about this doll and "how pretty she is" and "how angelic she looks" and on and on! FYI, my mom leans more on the masculine side .. so yeah, a big deal!
Anyways, I know this isn't your typical trendy post. I know most people like short, quick reels .. I ended up typing a lot more than I intended. 😅 Uhm. I might be just a LITTLE excited about this. Just a little lol!!
