Hello! I got my motorcycle endorsement a couple weeks ago and have been eyeing some first bikes. Today I drove past a motorcycle in a driveway with a “for sale” sign. The seller was asking for $3,300 for a 2007 Yamaha FZ6. I called and asked for some more details and the seller said that it had been dropped once and hadn’t been ridden in what sounded like many years. It had just been sitting in his garage. It has a new battery but I’m unsure of its actual running condition. I feel like $3,300 is a pretty high ask, but I think the seller may have factored in sentimental value which makes me feel bad about offering something like $1,500 for it. Does anyone have any tips on this? Thanks
