How’s the drone on the Invidia Q300 on an otherwise totally stock Si?
I have an AWE Touring on the car now and there’s really not much drone/resonance/vibration in the car, but the volume of the exhaust is just too loud for me.
Is the Q300 the way to go? Or maybe Apexi? Found a great deal on the Q300 but want some opinions first!

Not sure which one I want of these two. Which one is quieter/less drone? I wouldn’t be going with a front pipe just for reference. I’m curious about what everyone votes. Just looking for the OEM+ sound.
Even considered the Apexi but heard it sounds kinda wonky.

Recently installed a used AWE Touring and i love it. The tone is great and not droney at all on the highway. My only issue is the 180 technology mufflers cause the car to be quite loud at slow speeds but quiet at high speeds. It’s actually bizarre. It feels like the car is loudest when feathering the throttle and quieter as i give it more.
Is it crazy to consider having my local shop add an additional muffler somewhere in there? Or maybe a Helmholtz resonator? Seems like taking the exact tone it has now and bringing it down a notch would be perfect.
Unfortunately the exhaust had already been slightly chopped up before i installed it by the previous (clueless) owner not knowing how to remove it properly. But i was able to make it work and fit perfectly with no issue and a little creativity. AKA I don’t mind chopping it up a little more, got it super cheap as it is!
Stupid/pointless? Should i just buy a Thermal R&D?
