I make money posting NSFW content.
I just want to talk about this because I just had my best month yet.
So about a year and a half ago, I was looking for ways to make money on the side and ended up doing a lot of research on these accounts that post for engagement and clicks, and dude, they make a TON of money. So I thought, why not give it a try?
I had a few options: post rage bait BS about celebs and streamers or just flat out steal their clips, post gaming content and try to attract that side of social media, OR post NSFW content. In my head, that was the best option. I mean, the world will NEVER run out of horny men.
Anyways, it started off really good honestly. I would post clips and content, use popular hashtags, comment under other people’s posts, and built up a small following. Within a few weeks, I had already gained 300-400 followers. I want to note I wasn’t even close to making money yet.
Then it got slow…
Twitter tends to shadowban accounts like mine, so for months I was stuck between 500-700 followers and was barely getting any likes or comments. During this period though, I learned ALOT and connected with lots of people. Made friends with OnlyFans creators and other content posters like myself. Got super close with this dude, SHOUTOUT MAX, he runs an account like mine but has over 350k followers, and he helped me out a ton. I’m talking free reposts, shoutouts, connecting me with content creators, all that.
After that, my account started blowing up. Had over 12k followers, a few posts with 10-20k likes, still wasn’t making money though. The thing about Twitter and accounts like mine is even if you make their threshold for monetization, they will NOT give you it. I’ll get into how I make money soon.
So anyways, one day I will never forget, there is this creator named MelzTube. She really just got into this industry last year. I ended up posting one of her videos and it blew tf up, over 250K likes…
This absolutely changed my account. Started gaining thousands of followers per day, my posts were getting tons more traffic, and FINALLY I started getting DMs from creators asking for promos and retweets. (This is where the money is at.)
See, you might think accounts like mine are “stealing other people’s content,” but that’s not really the case. Creators love the exposure. Up until then it was mostly free. I did charge for promos, but I barely got any offers and I only charged between $5-$10. But after MELZ, I started making between $250-$500 a month.
I decided to take advantage of my 5 seconds of fame and started making pages on other websites to promote my Twitter account. I also packed a bunch of my clips and unposted clips into a file and started selling them on Telegram for $25.
Flash forward to today, I’m at over 180K followers and make anywhere between 2 to 4K a month. This past month I made $6,286, which is what caused me to make this post. That is equivalent to what I make at my job in 3 months…
This journey has genuinely been amazing. I’ve made lifelong friends with content creators and other engagement accounts, and I’m able to provide for my family more than I could have ever imagined.
If you want to get into this, I can’t even begin to express how important networking is. Make friends, talk to creators, talk to other accounts in your field. I promise that light at the end of the tunnel is coming.
Now let’s get into the pros and cons of this.
PRO’s - you make money, you make friends, you’re your own boss.
CONS - You have to watch ALOT of NSFW content. At this point, I’m completely desensitized to it. I don’t watch it for fun, I watch it for money, and I have to watch it for hours and hours and hours. It’s exhausting.
Hiding it from your family… haha. I’m sure some people are open about it, but I am NOT. I have a beautiful fiancé and a son that I love dearly. I tell her I get all this money from sports betting and gambling. Even told her I got a raise at work lol.
It’s honestly a really hard lie to keep up, and I’m probably gonna come clean about it soon. I’m not so worried she’d be mad I post NSFW content, but I’m in contact with a lot of girls and my fiancé is lowkey insecure, so I already know she would be pissed about it.
COPYRIGHT - the most annoying BS on earth. It’s honestly pretty rare that a creator would copyright strike your videos, but the big studios will definitely get on your ass. I’ve even had my account suspended over it before, so be very careful about what you post.
THE GRIND - the amount of hours and dedication you need to put into this is insane. I’ve had 17-hour sessions just finding videos for the next day, replying to comments, and making posts. While I’ve had many great weeks, I’ve also had horrible weeks that made me want to just drop everything and quit.
If you want to be successful in this, you need to be 100% dedicated at all times. This is not, in any way, easy money. It takes a lot to even make $20 a month…
Anyways, that’s enough yapping. Hope I didn’t break any thread rules with this post. I just wanted to share my story and maybe encourage others to try the same or something similar.
