I made adjustable battery banks with Cassette Futurist aesthetics
Hey everyone, just wanted to share my latest project here, since it was partially inspired by things I've seen on this sub.
I designed and built 2 custom lithium-ion battery banks, which feature fully adjustable voltage output up to 20V. This allows me to use these like a mini lab-bench power supply.
The signature aesthetic feature is the alphanumeric LED matrix displays (part number: HCMS-2973 and CMS-2974).
There is a large rotary encoder with a built-in button, which lets me dial in the voltage and current limit setting.
Inside the 3D-printed case is a 4S 21700 battery pack with an integrated BMS.
Charging is done via USBC.
This project is open source and can be found here: https://github.com/BenMakesEverything/Pocket-Lab-Power-Supply
