5 yeas of photos GONE when creating a security copy

Hello, I switched phones this morning between a Redmi Note 12 Pro 5g and a vivo Y29s 5g, whitty phone but its an emergency and I someone I know had laying around unopened. In my old phone, I made a security copy of my photos with google photos so I could have all of them in my new phone, but suddenly all of my non-camera taken photos (downloaded, shared, recieved in whatsapp... 95% of my photos that is) started deleting themselves and now they are nowhere to be found in either found. They last photos I have are from april 2022 but even from that time I cannot see all of my photos, most of them are unopenable white squares. There is nothing in google drive, nothing in the (old phone's) galery bin - its saves all deleted photos for 30 days-, nothing. I am desperate. I have no pictures form 2022-2026 and i can barely see any pictures after 2017, the ones taken before I had them in a small memory card. I had never had this issues when changing phones before, I am desperate.

A superior keeps commenting on my body (rant/advice?)

I (24f) have been in my job for about a year and half, I have just started managing my own projects but I mostly work for projects of senior researchers, mainly 2 of them, who we shall refer to as Ryan (63m) and Becka (41f). Ryan used to be the boss of the departmet but he has stepped back now since he is retiring in 1-2 years and wants to chill during whats left of his worklife.

During my time here I have slowly lost about 10 kg, mainly due to not stress eating in college and having time to do literally anything beyond studying, labs and so on - and Ryan keeps commenting on it after again and again and again in the middle of the office; little remarks about how I'm looking more "defined" latelly, asking me how much I weight, grilling me about the diet I must be on.... nothing crazy and yk, old people love commenting on other people's bodies so what can you do you know? It still makes me uncortable.

Anyhow, today I am workig from home for the first time in weeks and he sent me and only me a email, through the corporate email, linking an article about how remote working makes people gain an average of 3kg because yada yada, telling me to watch out. How do I even respond to this? Why would you do that? I am not really insecure about my body but this has definitly touched a nerve.

Before anyone suggests HR: My HR lady (old, female) is one of those "ah nowadays cant take a joke nowadays, you wouldn't have lasted a day in an office back in my day" type of lady. Anytime someone has made any reasonable complaint she has hung them out to dry without exceotion. A former collegue made a very polite and true compalint about our current boss, she called her a lyar (she had emails and "witnesses" backing her up) and acussed her of being too sensitive and toxic. She also called out boss the moment she left her office and by the time she came back to our department the boss was all in her face about it. She left the company like 3 days later.
