Family dinner!

Family dinner!

My second time cooking for the family on the blackstone, and I just googled “best family meal on blackstone”. AI gave me this hibachi recipe with day old cooked rice, chicken, scrambled eggs, zucchini, mushrooms, and onions, all seasoned with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Everything came out great, and the kids ate too, which is a major bonus!

I cooked the eggs, set them aside, chopped the veggies, seasoned them with soy sauce and s+p, and cooked them, and set them aside, chopped and cooked the chicken, set that aside, then got the rice nice and crispy before mixing everything together.

Having a few bowls and space to put them was nice to have with an outdoor table (my kitchen isn’t that big), and this is quickly becoming my favorite way to cook for the family. I’ll have to try this recipe again with steak in a couple weeks for some friends!

What are your favorite family meals to cook?

Picked this up along with some tools from a friend who hadn’t used it much in the last few months. I threw on some chopped veggies and a pack of pre marinated bool kogi for its maiden voyage. Can’t wait to get cooking with some more stuff!
