This is the UX Variant/Evo to my Phoenix Wing bey (Which I consider my current ace/partner for now.). The Bit is entirely custom, I sanded the Hexa bit down to make a semi-flat shape. The idea is to have enough power to knock out any bey, but also more than enough LAD to outspin. Pretty much the Rod Killer 5000.

Yup, I'm back with a new bey (and a new partner bey 💔). This time its the custom that pushed all that I know about making customs to my absolute limits. I pulled out all the stops on this thing and im not necessarily proud of it, but I dont hate it?

For now on I'm just going over new parts only, not parts already released by TT. The blade is Fenrir SoulBurst, which is part of the BX System. The gimmick of the bey is shock absorption through the three relatively large blades on it, similar to vipertail. Thats literally it for the blade.

I will say this custom did make me realize I cant keep using this method to make customs for now on. Using hot glue then coating it with super glue is just not it for durability. I have a few more customs ready, but for the ones yet to be made I'll be using a new method which will likely involve a 3d pen.

So after quite a bit of time away from the community... I return to Dran Strike and im blown away! So yk I had to LOCK IN with my new custom bey, Obsidian Firebird! This bey is an evolution or variant to Phoenix Wing, which was actually my first ever official X bey and has always been my favorite in my collection to this day! So I had to pay some form of homage to it with this new bey.

The blade is Obsidian Firebird, which is part of the UX Infinity or UX Expand system. This means the ratchet and bit are fused together (I think idk too much abt this system lol). I chose this for better burst resistance and for more chunky attack blades to hit hard. Also, the blade is weighted towards the middle for an inner and outer center of gravity. This makes the bey HEAVY so it hits HARD. It takes shape from beys like Xcalibur, Dran Buster, and Samuraizor due to all of these beys having a nasty habit of hitting hard.

The bit is Gear Point, I just chose it for a goood balance of stamina and attack. This allows FireBird to counter attack, or just hit super hard in general. Not much I wanna say abt the bit lol.
