Ok, I actually read someone criticizing Issei for not accepting defeat against Raiser in the rating game, when Raiser won fair and square.
And yes, Novel Raiser is not actually the major a-hole that he is in the anime, and the comment said that it was changed into a douchbag so Audience can empathize totally with Issei.
But the core thing is- we can agree and admire Issei in both- he literally said the reason why he refused to accept defeat- "Buchou was crying" he literally did it because he knew Rias didn't want to- nor her brother, since Sirchezs basically gave him permission to crash the party.
So... Can someone explain why that comment seemed to criticise Issei? what exactly did he do wrong?
also, didn't Rias resign to save Issei, rather than Raiser properly winning?
