Quick survey for history enthusiasts — how do you actually engage with history online?
Hey! We're working with the American Historical Association (AHA) and want to hear from people who love history — whether you're a casual fan, a podcast addict, a documentary binger, or someone who falls down Wikipedia rabbit holes at 2am.
We're trying to understand how people outside of academia discover and engage with history content. Things like:
- Where do you go for history content? YouTube, podcasts, Reddit, TikTok, articles?
- What formats do you actually enjoy — short clips, long-form essays, audio?
- What would make you want to follow or support a history organization?
- Have you ever heard of the AHA, and if so, what do you associate with it?
The survey takes about 5 minutes and is completely anonymous — no sign-in required. There are no right or wrong answers, we genuinely just want to hear from people who care about history in whatever form that takes.
If you have thoughts you'd rather share in the comments, we're all ears too. Thanks so much — every response genuinely helps!
