Hi everyone! I’m recruiting participants for my doctoral dissertation research examining the relationship between adversity, minority stress, emotional experiences, personality traits, and alcohol/substance use among lesbian and bisexual women.

You may be eligible if you:
Are 18 years of age or older
Identify as a woman
Were assigned female at birth
Identify as lesbian or bisexual
Are able to read and understand English
Have current or past experience with alcohol or substance use

This shall hopefully take 5-10 minutes to finish. All it's about is simply what you anticipate yourself gaining prior to scrolling, what you watch. How worth it was it, what did you miss out on, and why do you still do it? I believe almost every question requires a response although for the demographics section you may refuse to answer most questions. For all questions you do decide to answer, all I ask for is for you to be honest. If you wish to troll or to give me an automated response or to survey yourself more than once, then you're simply ruining my little study for my English class. The professor tasked us with answering this question "What is TikTok, and why do people use it?", I already did a separate survey about how much time you spend using it and what you see. but I never stopped to ask "What do you stand to gain; and at what cost?". Only twins or parents of young twins should fill out the survey, anyone else who wants to help me may share it with twins they know!
