Possible FM alert underground scheme.....?
Does anyone else get these random FM alerts? They have been happening to me for years. Sometimes I'll get them just a few days apart, then crickets for months. I have asked everyone I know and no one has a clue what I'm taking about, and it doesn't happen to anyone else. When I try looking it up I get no answers. I've tried to find people on Reddit who may get them too to no avail.
They usually play three long beeps and three short ones, then it'll come back on with someone from a radio station, but it switches between different stations. This has happened to me where I would've been out of range of cell towers as well.
I drive a 2008 Volvo xc70 for reference. I won't even have it on the radio setting, I will be me playing on an aux cord connected to my phone. They vary in length. I sometimes get them for a min straight and it'll play music as well. In one of them a lady says "alright I think I've sufficiently warned you about the b b stuff" ....? And refers to a monthly test but like I said sometimes it happens only days apart. Something just feels off about this and I have been dying to know what's going on for the last three years I have owned this car.
I honestly don't even know if I'll get any answers but I have a feeling you guys would want to know about this lol
