What are your thoughts on bidding on and collecting a relic 4 rotor Kriegsmarine Enigma with provenance vs a working or restored machine?
One was never meant to see the light of day after being destroyed, thrown, and salvaged years later from(freshwater) lake in Kiel, and then waiting for maybe a 3 rotor Army restored working one, well...I guess they both have their merits. What do you think? This is the one I am looking at:
