I’m trying to break into private equity by the time I’m 30 years old, I’m currently turning 21, I have a summer internship with a family office that does everything in house, and then I have a spring 2027 internship for tax at a mid sized firm, I graduate may 2027, I’ve read that I need to be in m&a tax, or financial services tax, or private client services, Main goal here is to just make 400k+ by the time I’m 30 don’t care to much about how many hours I have to work to get there, what do you guys recommend I get into like which line of tax? I’m also looking for high probability setups don’t want to be one in a million! But also don’t underestimate me I’ve made 200k at this age and just looking for a career path that will help me pay for rent while I compound my money. And pay for my future BMW.

Edit: lmao the lack of intelligence is amazing, I can’t believe this is who I’m going to be competing with in corporate America🤣🤣 OMG U MADE 200k NO U DIDNT THIS IS RAHE BAIT POST OMG LIKE BRO CRY ME A RIVER. I ASKED FOR ADVICE ON TAX THATS IT, I don’t know what yall are doing talking about other shit.
