GOT INTO STANFORD OOS CC NON-TRAD (Stats)
I am so shocked that I got in tbh, I go to Austin Community College and I was expecting there to be a huge bias to California CC applicants.
Thought I would share my stats if it helps anyone applying as an Econ major:

ACT: 35 (1 sitting Feb 26')
College GPA: 3.8 (19 completed credits)
13 credits this spring. Taking Calc III, Linear Algebra, Financial Accounting, Microecon (All high A's)
Resume:
- WHL First Round Draft Pick (first player from Austin, TX ever drafted). Took 2 gap years playing junior hockey across five teams in Alaska, Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania. Walked away to prioritize academics.
- Primary family caregiver since age 17 after my mother suffered a severe ischemic stroke
- Manufacturing Operator at NXP Semiconductors
- Real Estate Development Analyst Intern
- Published working paper on Austin housing affordability using hedonic regression with neighborhood fixed effects

In my essays I wrote a lot about my personal growth during my mothers health crisis. What also helped, I think, was being vulnerable in the short response questions and showing personality.
