Don't fix yourself but know yourself.

Hello guys I am an 17 year old INFJ plus HSP trait guy and I want to share my experience about self reflection and meta-cognition(thinking about your thinking).

Approximately 8 months ago I was disturbed cause of my one imaginary fear but I took a break and did not attended my schools the whole year I was just going to the tuitions and I thought of fixing myself kind of and then I started watching video of Sandeep Maheshwari on YouTube basically he is a self help content creator on YouTube and I started reflecting to myself I started understanding and knowing deeper truth about my own mind, ego, how mind works and how there is so many 'I's I human mind I started observing my own thoughts and started seeing the thoughts as just thoughts without judgement this is called meta cognition if you also see your own thoughts you will notice that that thoughts hurts you less and you detach with the thought once you see it with your most of the attention.

Now I am again back to normal and again thinking to go for that awareness (basically I call Meta-cognition awareness) it basically changes the whole way you see the world and the surprising thing about it that that seeing of thought is also another thought and the one observing is also the one who is observed.

Once you see this whole you become a little light.

One thing to keep in you mind:- don't let it becomes another ego building and remember even after you get a good amount of control over your mind with the Meta cognition you will again fall back keep so coming back.
