Sending out invitations early?
Ok I guess I am in the minority based on the internet but I just am so confused. My wedding is November 14 of this year. We sent out a save the date this past February. My fiancés family is local but most of my family and friends would need to get hotel rooms for the weekend, which I have provided two really great hotels (one is the venue).
Google and Reddit say to only send out the invitations 8 weeks before the wedding but that just seems CRAZY to me. My family needs to plan flights and book hotels, but also, I need to give the venue a final head count one month beforehand. I want to send my invites out in June or July, but the internet is saying that’s way too early, but I truly do not want to wait until two months before. I can’t remember the time frame of the last wedding I was invited to…idk I need help. Am I just not getting it???? Please explain it to me like I’m five lol
