Respect to Mel, but his kid gloves approach to Reid has left him without much credibility.
His million dollar legal fees he's cost the city, the other half million Reid has cost the taxpayer in code of conduct investigations. Keep in mind Reid didn't participate in the ones he instigated.
The numerous founded bullying and harassment claims from subordinates don't bother Mel either.
The most critical I've seen Mel was from when he said the mayor should create a speaker's list at council meetings.
