Hi! It's my first time posting and english is not my first languaje so appologies in advance.
I'm looking to run a campaign or series fo one shots heavily inspired on Stranger Things, set on the 80's, with the pc's ages runing from 10-18 years, most of them with no powers, but maybe one or two with Eleven's telekinetic powers (or something like that), on a small town where weird things are happening, probably not necessarily the series Demogorgons but other kind off criptids aswell, probably another dimension (the upside down) and adults/the goverment/companies idk, trying to hide that.
I saw some posts where for 80's set games people recommended Kids on Bikes or Tales from the Loop (I think that's how they were called) Would I have to modify some rules? Is there any better system you guys know? I've mostly only played D&D 5e but been wanting to play with other systems. Also kind of remember Critical Role played something like that, but they transformed into monsters?? Idk, please help
