Chorionic bump? Anyone have experience?

Hi everyone! I’m 8w4d today and measuring 8w5d on ultrasound. HR 174. Everything is measuring and looking really good. I was 2 1/2 years ttc - failed IUIs, a chemical pregnancy, 8 week miscarriage, 2 rounds of IVF, etc etc etc. After the second round of IVF we decided to take a breather from treatments and I went on a glp. I lost 20 lbs (got back down to my starting weight pre fertility treatments) and miraculously ended up falling pregnant naturally.

Fast forward- everything so far is looking amazing as I stated above. We’re beating all the odds and hitting milestones. I’m graduating my fertility clinic next week. However, since my first scan, a visible chorionic bump has been there and doesn’t seem to be shrinking. My doctor said he has no real concerns at this point. Clearly it’s not affecting the babies growth/development. I am on a progesterone suppository at night and 1 Lovenox shot a day. I take theralogix prenatal with DHA and choline daily. No other meds and I immediately stopped the glp once I found out I was pregnant (I was only on a microdose for 4 weeks).

Today’s scan the bump looks a little bit bigger. Last week it was smaller. So it’s just confusing/concerning that it doesn’t seem to be consistently going away. Overall I can’t even express what my real fears are- I’m not sure. My doctor stressed everything else is looking very good so he said it shouldn’t disrupt anything. I also have had zero spotting or bleeding. I just get an eerie scared feeling around it since it’s not supposed to be there.

I am wondering if anyone has any similar stories about having a chorionic bump and if it went away on its own eventually / causes problems / no problems, etc etc etc? Thanks!!
