Large SCH -9 weeks- no heartbeat

I had an ultrasound done today as I have been having bleeding/cramping/clotting over past week. Fertility clinic says this is all normal when taking baby asprin and progesterone. Bleeding has finally stopped however ultrasound is inconclusive even with the mention of no cardiac activity. It reports there is a single intrauterine gestational sac which appears irregular/collapsed. It contains an oval echogenic structure which could represent a fetal pole measuring 1.5cm. Fluid surrounding the entire gestational sac suggestive of subchorionic hematoma. The hospital seems to think there is still a chance and asked me to follow up with my fertility clinic. Has this ever happened to anyone, and is there any chance for a positive outcome?

4dp5dt test

4AA Fet , 4dp5dt , Is this the faint line I'm waiting for or am I hallucinating ?

My husband and I can clearly see better than the one we did in the morning, however I feel like my eyes are playing games with me .

Morning time I did the FRER I can see a line but it is very hard to tell if it's even there so can't rely on that .

Evening I decided to try with different type and BAM I think I see the faintest line! Please help in looking at it with me 🤣🤞

Spotting

Hi! I am 6 weeks pregnant and I experienced this spotting today. I haven’t had any before and I had cramping at 4 weeks but nothing since. I’ve been constipated. I’m just so anxious and freaking out! Pic in the comments

How do I tell family I’m pregnant when I’m now 5 months and afraid to offend everyone?

PLEASE BE KIND.

My family does not live local. Today is my younger kiddos birthday and I’ll see my family for the first time. At first I didn’t tell anyone because i was terrified I was going to lose the baby, and I STILL AM, (won’t feel relief until anatomy scan in a week). I am the type of person who just lives a private life and I don’t ever want any attention on me.

I don’t want to hurt my sister’s feelings. Please be kind as I’m already emotional TIA. There’s no way they won’t see my bump. What should I say?

Very low but rising hCG

I'm looking for opinions because my situation has been really confusing.

I know my hCG levels are extremely low, and I'm aware they would be very concerning if I were truly 6-7 weeks pregnant based on my last menstrual period.

Here's my timeline:

- Last true period started May 12.

- My Oura Ring estimated ovulation as June 6.

- I had bleeding around June 20-22, but looking back it was lighter/shorter than my normal period.

- I've had a positive digital test everyday since Monday, June 29, and line tests everyday that have only been very faint.

- My first quantitative hCG was 6.9 mIU/mL on Tuesday, June 30.

- About 46 hours later, it rose to 16.3 mImL (more than doubled).

I'm trying to understand what this pattern most likely suggests. Has anyone had very low but appropriately rising hCG that turned into a healthy pregnancy? Maybe my ovulation date was later than my oura ring suggests? does this sound more consistent with a chemical pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, or another outcome?

I'm waiting for another blood draw (doctor suggested I wait a week from last blood draw) but would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's experienced something similar.

Just Found out I am Pregnant....

An estimated 4 ish weeks. I have inconsistent nausea, I had extremely light spotting from Tuesday to yesterday but also no discharge and very very crampy feeling as though I will get my period or at this point a chemical. Got bloods on Friday with a repeat due Monday. I'm not sure what to expect.

How long do HCG strips dark?

Found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks 1 day, lightly bled all that week, doctor told me I was having a miscarriage (over the phone, no blood test, just based on what I told him).
It was too early to have a scan anywhere and doctor would do my bloods so all I’ve done is keep hcg testing with strips. Over the last two weeks strips have got darker and I’ve had a bit of nausea and sore boobs. I know the symptoms could be because my hcg is still high but would the tests still be darkening now if I’ve lost this pregnancy?

I’ve now booked a private early scan at the end of this week so will be 6 weeks 5 days and will know for sure then but any words of wisdom?
If you had an early loss, how long did your hcg strips stay dark?

6w1d ultrasound

First pregnancy and we booked a boutique ultrasound just to confirm the pregnancy because otherwise my doctors in my area will not see you until 10 weeks, which I understand. I was shocked to find out I was pregnant (even though we were trying and tracking ovulation) so we thought this would help me process.

The ultrasound tech was very nice and reassuring but I immediately said “it looks empty” when she zoomed in on the gestational sac. She quickly said no there’s a yolk sac there but no fetal pole yet and let me know my uterus is tilted which will also make it harder to see at first. She said there was no HB yet. She said she thinks we are just a bit earlier than expected and did not seem super worried, but we know our conception date and my periods are very regular, so I wouldn’t think the dates could be too off … so now I’m worried. We go back in a couple weeks to see how things have progressed. Any advice or reassurance anyone can offer? 🫣

Bleeding after Transvaginal Ultrasound

I had my first scan on Thursday at 6 weeks 4 days. Baby was measuring 6 weeks 2 days and a heartbeat of 104.
Ever since the ultrasound I haven’t stopped spotting 😵‍💫😵‍💫 bright red every single time I wipe. It’s been two days of this. I went to the ER and they did only an abdominal ultrasound. She didn’t take any measurements. She told me baby is still there and was able to only see the heartbeat flicker.
She diagnosed me with threatened miscarriage.
I guess my question is, has anybody bled for days after vaginal ultrasound or am I the only one ??
I’m freaking out because I just went thru a miscarriage in March of this year

Is my hCG rise normal? Worried because it slowed down around 6 weeks.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some reassurance or honest experiences because I’m feeling quite anxious.
This was a natural IUI cycle.

My hCG values:
● 13 DPO (June 15): 20
● 15 DPO (June 17): 240
● 17 DPO (June 19): 517
● 25 DPO (June 27): 10,000
● 32 DPO (July 4): ~34,000

Next blood work is scheduled after 1 week.
My concern is that the rise from 10,000 to 34,000 seems much slower than the earlier doubling, and I’m worried that something might be wrong.
Has anyone had similar hCG numbers around 32 DPO / 6–6.5 weeks that went on to be a healthy pregnancy? Did your hCG also slow down once it reached the tens of thousands?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences while I wait for my next blood test and ultrasound. Thank you ❤️

Heartbeat

Is 116bpm too slow for 6+5? My nurse told me it’s “perfect!” but I’m just nervous. We’re measuring right on track maybe even a tad ahead but waiting one more week to know if we’re still growing is going to be tough.

3 miscarriages & disappointed to find out I’m pregnant again

My husband and I (both 38) have been trying to have a baby for just over a year. We’ve been pregnant three times and had three miscarriages (blighted ovum-untested, trisomy 14 & triploidy). We have no living children. We’ve done all the testing available to us so far (blood panels, karyotyping, semen analysis) and all seem to be ‘normal’. So our miscarriages have been deemed bad luck.

After the last miscarriage, we decided to take a few months off. I’d put on a lot of weight in the last year so went on Mounjaro to help lose and had started getting back into the gym. I’ve had one period since my last miscarriage and wasn’t anything like my usual periods so wasn’t even sure it was a true period but then chalked that change up to being on new medication - Mounjaro.

Weight had started to come off, I had so much more energy and was really starting to feel good about myself after a very tough year on my body. Then I find out I’m pregnant again (4weeks 2 days as of today), I know this is what I so want but I can’t help but feel like it’ll end in miscarriage again so now I’ve got to feel bad/unwell/tired for 4-6 weeks until I find out if this pregnancy is going to be viable and if not then I’ll have to start my self care all over again. I’m determined not to let this pregnancy affect me going to the gym, eating healthily in so far as I can. But with every time I’ve gotten pregnant, my symptoms seems to start earlier and have been worse than the time before.

Obviously I know there is a chance that this will work out, but with my history my brain is leaning towards it ending in another miscarriage so I’m annoyed that I’m going to have to have these symptoms again and feel unwell for potentially no reason.

I know we chose this, we had unprotected sex. Only once mind you!! What are the chances we’d get the exact timing right just once to make this happen?! And every other time we’ve gotten pregnant we have tried several times and even done at home inseminations to improve our chances. I’ve heard the term hyper fertility, where your uterus is too welcoming and doesn’t weed out the bad embryos before implantation. I think this might be my situation.

I’m so sorry to complain. I know being pregnant is the biggest wish some people have and I want it too, I want a healthy pregnancy, I’m just scared of the toll it’s going to take on my body to get there.

Has anyone been in the same situation/felt the same?

Dark brown/burgundy spotting 5w 4d - changing OBGYNs as current one dismissed me

I know all kinds of spotting can be normal, esp in the first trimester. It’s been 6 days of spotting for me now which started off light brown and only when wiping. At first it really was not much but I went to see my OBGYN and he was dismissive. Said it’s normal and “to call back if I make it to 6 weeks” which really made me upset after my previous chemical. I went and got my own betas done (204 to 532 in 48 hours) and in the mean time got on the schedule with a new OBGYN office. I’m not supposed to be seen for 3 more weeks (right around 8 weeks) but in the last 24 hours my discharge has changed to an almost burgundy dark brown. I’m not soaking through a pad, not even getting a liner wet but it drips in the toilet some and it’s on the tissue. It’s the Fourth of July weekend so I’m not trying to go to the ER unless I have true emergency signs like heavy V flexing or pain.

Anyone has really dark brown spotting that is like runny and not dry/sticky? I’ve read so much about SCH and old blood that I’m really going insane. I have 48 hours til the OB opens on Monday and i can try to get in for an earlier ultrasound. Just trying to either brace myself for the worst or know that this can be normal and it’s part of a sensitive cervix etc. I haven’t had any true red spotting at all.

Thoughts or advice appreciated!

Hcg didn’t double.

7/2 HCG was 26.1. Today, 7/4 was 42.9. I’m in trouble right? Progesterone rose from 9 to 17 but I’m also on suppositories.

Possible MC??

Hello all

I have had 2 missed miscarriages in the past where baby passed around 6 weeks but I did not find out until 13 weeks and 10 weeks. I’ve been having early monitoring this time. So far everything was normal but I went in for an ultrasound at 6 weeks 5 days based on lmp and my baby measured 6.1 mm and had no heartbeat the dr reran hcg. It went from 86000 to 89000 over 48 hours. I have a follow up ultrasound on July 14 but I’m dying inside with anxiety. I feel like this isn’t viable but I’m so scared. This was supposed to be my rainbow.

Advocate for earlier US? Or wait til 8 weeks

Pregnant again after multiple chemicals. I’m 6+1 today, which is the farthest we’ve made it so far. Started feeling nauseous yesterday which, while annoying, I’m taking as a positive sign.

However, the anxiety is killing me.

I have an US scheduled in 2 weeks but am wondering if I should advocate to get one at 7 weeks instead of 8 to alleviate nerves? I’m in USA, fwiw. My OB was very insensitive about my chemicals so I’m worried about her judging me for wanting an earlier US. (Yes, I’ve considered switching, but it’s hard to find someone who takes my insurance and is nearby).

Thoughts on US timing welcome, as well as how to stop being so dang anxious! I know I’m overestimating the likelihood of something going wrong, but I’m having a very hard time letting go of those thoughts.

Just had my third chemical in 5 months …

I had a chemical pregnancy that ended at 4 weeks. Then I had the following month another that ended at 5 weeks. I took a two month break and just had another this time at 4.5 weeks. I didn’t get blood testing but from test progression the tests were strong and had a dye stealer test yesterday.

So confused and feel a bit hopeless. My husband and I are so sad and disappointed. We really thought this time would work out and be the one.

I have very regular periods, 30 day cycle very predictable. My husband and I are both 32, healthy weight, eat extremely healthy, active and don’t drink or smoke. he did smoke for many years then transitioned to vape but quit vaping approx 5 months ago.

just don’t get it why we are conceiving so easily but can’t get it to work for us.

Planning to book an appt with a reproductive endocrinologist.

Has anyone been through similar? Did you figure out what was causing all your early losses and prevent more?

Lower Hcg

Low HCG at 12 weeks

Long time lurker, first time posting.

I’ve spent the last three days frantically searching the internet for anything that may give me the answer I want, but at this point I’m just feeling defeated.

I’ve been experiencing spotting the last two weeks, on and off, with light brown discharge. Worried, I called my OB to see what I should do since my next ultrasound isn’t until July 8th. She had me come in on the 1st for an HCG quantitative test. I got the result the next day, it’s 4,762. Since it’s a holiday week, I haven’t to wait until the 6th to have a follow up HCG test. Thanks to insurance issues, I haven’t had any OB appointments until now, so I can’t guarantee the exact date of conception, but my last period was April 3rd.

After searching the internet obsessively for hours the last couple days, I’m worried that I’m experiencing a missed miscarriage. I haven’t had a fever, cramping, or giant clots…if anything it’s comparable to the pictures I have seen of a subchronic hematoma. However the HCG results make me think it’s a worst case scenario.

I know it’s a long shot, but I’m hoping anyone has had a similar experience, with a positive outcome. Deep down I feel like I know what the answer will be, but at this point I’m hoping for anything.
