This is how my miscarriage started a while back and now I am terrified. My betas were good but I went and paid for independent ones because I don’t trust my body.

I was nauseated and nipples hurt super bad two days ago. Now I feel fine. Have energy. Even cleaned.

I have less symptoms today and I’ve pretty much written off this pregnancy. I tried to verve get attached in the first place. I’ve only been pregnant for a week. I’m 5 weeks.

IUI today — pre-wash TMC \~76 million but only \~15 million post-wash. Is that a concerning drop?

Had an IUI today and I’m trying to understand our sperm numbers and whether the post-wash recovery seems unusually low.

Pre-wash:

\\\* Volume: 4.5 mL

\\\* Concentration: 23.5 million/mL

\\\* Motility: 72%

\\\* Progressive motility: 66%

\\\* Morphology: not reported

By my calculation, that’s about 106 million total sperm and \\\~76 million total motile sperm pre-wash.

Post-wash:

\\\* Volume: 0.5 mL

\\\* Concentration: 44 million/mL

\\\* Motility: 68%

\\\* Forward progression: 3

\\\* Total motile count: 14.96 million

So we went from roughly 76 million motile sperm pre-wash to \\\~15 million post-wash.

For anyone who’s had IUIs, does that seem like a normal amount of loss during processing? I’m less worried about the absolute 15M post-wash number and more confused by why the recovery from the original sample was so low.

Would especially love to hear what your pre- and post-wash numbers looked like and whether your clinic considered \\\~15M post-wash a good IUI sample

Is it all the components for success were there yet I didn’t get pregnant?

Or is it hey we tried… an egg didn’t develop or I didn’t ovulate and we changed my protocol…. Would you have counted that?

Doing IUI for DOR doctor didn’t want me to do trigger shot and just wait on natural LH surge. So I did. Follicle was 22mm when I got my surge. Was put on vaginal estrogen for lining a few days before and was told to continue until my period of negative test. Well I begged for a progesterone test…. It was 0.5 8DPO.

WHAT THE FUCK

I have a scanning date on CD11 which is weird but my doctor assured me that my cycle is reset on letrozole….. ??

Just curious if this is normal? I usually surge on my own cd 10 but they’re having me come in cd 11 to do another ultrasound to see where my follicles are at??? I informed them but they said letrozole resets my cycle.

They also seem very weary of using trigger shot if I already surge on my own… they say it’s expensive and unnecessary if I already surge and that they’re open all days of the week.

Does any of this sound right?

Turns out my cyst was an early recruited follicle. I was put on BC initially but was taken off two weeks later after it was determined it was a cyst. I was told to take my trigger shot. Now it’s three days later and I have period like bleeding. I am unsure what this is about?

Surely this cannot be counted as CD1 right? The bleeding it getting steadily worse. My lining was 4mm at my last scan so I’m unsure I will have any period blood left for my actual period when it does come.

Has anyone else had this situation?

Like they say you have a cyst in your baseline scan but it just ends up being an early follicle??

Did your doctor manage this in any way?

Like will two eggs not release if I do not have a trigger shot or if my LH rise is not as powerful as a trigger shot?

My doctor made it seem like I have to pee on sticks and then call him and then do the IUI. I’m going to call and confirm but it seems super weird that he wouldn’t do a trigger.

I ovulate on my own but multiple times I have measured preovulatory follicles at 25mm around ovulation. I also have a short LH surge that doesn’t rise that high.

I just want the trigger because I hate peeing on the sticks and usually my surge starts late at night on CD 10…. I like this doctor but how do I ask for a trigger?? I also have DOR and would love twins to get it all done with before my eggs expire.

Our friends will be here for two weeks to go to a wedding in SF. They wanted to have a 11 day road trip after going south from SF. I’m torn between planning a trip going down the coast versus through Yosemite and all the national parks. We aren’t big campers so I am unsure if that would be a downside for the eastern side traveling down 395. They ultimately want to go to LA and San Diego to end the trip after going to do nature things. I am wondering if they are being too ambitious and if we should do Yosemite and the. Track back and go down highway 1.

I worried they won’t be wowed by coastal stuff since they go to Greece for the weekend and Mallorca in the summer. I have never been on highway 1 so I have no idea how it would compare to those European beaches.

Edit: we are planning this trip for first two weeks of November.

It appears my cyst was actually just an early follicle growing on CD 2….. I have DOR. It continued to grow despite birth control and they told me to trigger. The cyst was 27.6 x 18 x 22.8 my lining was 4 mm and my estrogen was 200.

My doctor never gives me guidance because I have never actually seen her in person and her nurse just does all the communication and then actually messes up the communication by giving me standard advice and then backtracking. Like she told me yesterday congrats! Come in tomorrow for bloodwork to see if it’s not hormonal and we can start letrozole. I was like yall literally drew bloodwork on me today, which is what I was referring to when I reached out inquiring if I should take my trigger….

So is it even worth it to try this month or will it just make me have another miscarriage?

Cycle cancelled. I was put on birth control to shrink my 15mm cyst that all the sudden grew to 30mm two weeks later. I had a scan last week and it was 15mm again and then this week it was 30mm.

What is going on? Why would it grow so fast within a week despite birth control?

What was your protocol?

I can’t start because on my baseline scan I had a 15mm cyst. I am not sure if I scanned too early or what? My periods are so light that I never know when it starts because it is all just spotting. Could the cyst be causing my light periods? Could the cyst just be my old corpus luteum that wasn’t broken down because I have these weird periods? I ovulate every month on CD 10, so is it an already maturing follicle?

I’m so defeated. Now I have to go on BC. Did this work for anyone?

I had a MMC at six weeks. After my first period after the miscarriage, I got an AMH drawn. It was 0.7 with AFC of 13. I am wondering if the recent MC had any effect on that number.
