7.5mo waking every 2 hours at night :(
We did FIO at 5 months and we were averaging 2 night wakes which I was happy with. Now baby is 7.5m and she had her first bug 3 weeks ago. Bunged up and coughing and struggling to sleep so I nursed her to sleep a lot when she woke in the night.
Now she seems recovered but is still waking every 2 hours, sometimes 1.5 hours. I've tried to leave her to resettle a few times but was worried she was still in pain or uncomfortable because she would cry for a long time before I fed her and put her back down.
Doctor today gave her the all clear medically.
Do we try FIO again? Or will she naturally go back to 2 night wakes (obviously I'd prefer less but can cope fine with 2).
She's been on 2 naps since before her illness and is generally 3/3/4 but ww sometimes longer. Her total naptime can be anywhere from 1.5h to 3.5h. Bedtime is about 8.30pm but always dependent on daytime sleep and final ww. She wakes about 7am.
I'm feeling really broken after finally starting to sleep a bit better. She won't take bottles and is allergic to formula anyway so it's just me nursing her through the night every night.
Please help!
