AITA for trying to report someone for hateful speech in a gc.
I joined a discord server for help and information on my class, but someone in it is insane. We recently took an exam and honestly, the classroom smelt like shit and BO. I thought nothing of it but later checked our discord server to see a guy pointing out who he assumed were the people who stunk, referring to someone as a “white ape” and constantly referring to weight saying the stench came from their extra flab’s. I understand being annoyed at the smell but this is insane to me. He went on about how someone was Indian and that stereotypes are there for a reason. It seemed super rude and honestly racist to me. And finally, he made it appoint to list the names of the people the stench was coming around without even being certain it was them. Am I the only one who thinks this is absolute ass hole behavior? I have his name so I wanted to try reporting him but I didn’t know if it would do anything.
