My ASUS TUF Gaming A16 (FA608PP, RTX 5070, Ryzen 9 8940HX) has been running very hot lately. Just a few days ago, when I had Armoury Crate on Turbo mode, I was getting around 80–85°C at idle, about 85–87°C while playing Roblox, and slightly higher temps in The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 (around 88–89°C consistently). My CPU loads were always relatively low, and the GPU was running at expected temperatures without much issue, both under load and at idle.

Because of this, I decided to install G-Helper in hopes of reducing my temps. I used AI suggestions and some Reddit posts to choose the settings. After applying them, I noticed that my idle temps grew much higher on Turbo mode at the high 80s, and as soon as I launch any game, regardless of which it is, the CPU instantly sits at a constant 96°C, and the GPU now reaches around 87°C as well.

I don’t understand what could be causing this. My first thoughts were dust buildup or a thermal paste issue, but I wanted to hear other opinions before opening it up.
Apologies if I missed any crucial information, as I'm new at this. I’ll be sure to edit the post if I find anything else.
