Brand new ASUS GAMING F16 (4050)

i got it recently about two weeks from now on. but i've been wondering- why does gta 5 gives around 165-180 fps at classic textures with all ultra settings. while capping at 120 with a very high rtx. But the game like zenless zone zero it just terrible is it my bad settings pick or the game is just not optimized?

Am i Cooked? Asus TUF F15

For the previous two weeks, my laptop experienced a problem where the Bluetooth and WiFi options entirely vanished at odd times. The problem was temporarily resolved by pressing Network Reset in the settings and holding the power button for thirty seconds.

Every time the alternatives vanish, I employ this technique.

I performed the same procedure today, but this time the laptop didn't start up; instead, it displayed this..

I've watched more than 20–30 YouTube videos, tried a number of various approaches, and asked AI to assist me, but none of them worked.

I've finally made up my mind to visit the repair shop, but I would really like to try more on my own with the support of this community.

What guys think, the motherboard?

I broke the battery conector a couple of months ago. So I’m always using my asus conected to electricity. Today electricity went off, and obviously my lap turned off abruptly.

I was late and I only disconnected the charger, but monitor and speakers remained plugged in.

Now that I’m trying to turn it on, is not working. It’s just trying to turn on but it doesn’t, just showing asus logo again and again until stops doing something else.

Battery light is on, also the other 2 light signals, the shows asus logo and suddenly a black screen. It does this like 5 times and then just the battery light remains on.

The only thing that wasn’t connected to a multicontact was the monitor

What you guys think? Is it the motherboard? Short circuit? Is it expensive?

PD. Windows sound was new

asus sticker residue?

So I just removed the sticker from my laptop but ended up with a somewhat darker shade, which can be visible from looking at a different angle. Is this permanent, or can it be removed?

ASUS TUF F15 (11th Gen)

ASUS TUF F15 (11th Gen) not starting without charger, battery suddenly drops to 0% and shuts down

Hi everyone, I need help with an issue on my ASUS TUF F15 (11th Gen).

Problem:

My laptop is around 3 years old and recently it does not start without the charger connected. Even if I charge it to 100%, the battery percentage suddenly disappears / shows 0%, and the laptop shuts down automatically.

After connecting the charger, it turns on again after some time.

Laptop details:

- Model: ASUS TUF F15 (11th Gen)

- Age: ~3 years old

- Issue: Won’t boot without charger, battery drops suddenly to 0%, auto shutdown

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Could this be a battery problem, charging IC issue, motherboard issue, or BIOS issue? Any fixes or suggestions would be really helpful.

Is there a way to fix this GHelper bug?

I have the latest Nvidia GPU driver installed, and the brightness is broken when I enable my IGPU. This only happens on GHelper. What should I do?

Sudden horizontal lines on laptop screen — external monitor works fine

My laptop ASUS TUF F15 FX507VV(out of warranty now) suddenly started showing horizontal lines all over the screen.

What happened:

- Laptop booted normally

- Screen turned off after being idle

- When I woke it back up, these lines appeared suddenly

Things I tested:

- Restarted multiple times

- Lines are visible even in BIOS

- Connected to TV via HDMI → external display is perfectly fine

- Moving the lid doesn’t change anything

Photo attached.

Does this look like:

- LCD panel failure?

- Display ribbon cable?

- Something else?

Also, is it worth repairing or replacing the screen?

Thanks.

Finally cleaned my ASUS TUF laptop after around 1.5 years

The fans had a decent amount of dust buildup, and for the last year I had also been facing random WiFi and Bluetooth issues where both would just disappear sometimes. So while opening the laptop, I cleaned the WiFi card contacts as well using a simple eraser.

Tools used:

* ATM card to pry open the back panel

* Basic screwdriver

* A brush from my sister’s makeup kit for cleaning the fans

I waited a couple of days before posting this just to make sure nothing broke afterwards, but everything works perfectly now. WiFi and Bluetooth are stable again and fans are quieter.

will it void the warranty?

Hi guys. I recently bought an Asus Tuf and wanted to ask if installing g-helper will affect the warranty whatsoever?

Also, can I have both MyAsus and G-Helper installed together?

Just realized, g-sync sticker was missing on my brand new asus tuf a-16. Did I possibly got a returned device?

I seen people sharing their brand new Asus Tuf f16/a16. All of them have this little g-sync sticker on the bottom right of the screen. I bought my laptop from amazon never realized this sticker wasn't there until now. There is a slight dark patch also. Did they sell me a returned laptop?

Just got a new for my asus tuf f16

I just got a monitor and everything works fine. But for some reason when I boot up the laptop, the monitor won’t connect unless I unplug the display port and plug it in again. I switched from hdmi to DisplayPort/usb c thinking that was the problem at first. I switched my gpu to nividia only, didn’t work. Is this a common issue and is there a way to fix it?

Wireless LAN card and Bluetooth card keeps disconnecting.

I have an ASUS TUF Gaming F15, bought way back in 2021 IIRC. These problems only started showing up as frequently as it is right now a couple of months ago. Before that, troubleshooting was enough to fix the errors, but now I've tried everything the ASUS website has suggested, but to no avail.

My theory is that the LAN card is improperly connected. It cannot be *only* overheating since I've tried cleaning the fans myself with a toothbrush (only as a temporary fix, I know I need to get these cleaned professionally at least once a year).

If it helps, whenever I check the drivers through the device manager, it's always Code 45.
