Black screen + debug code 00 on new Ryzen 7 9800X3D build

Just built my new PC and I’m getting a black screen with debug code 00 on my Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE.

The PC powers on, fans spin, GPU lights up, but there’s no display at all. Monitor says no signal.

Specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- GPU: RTX 4070 Ti
- Motherboard: Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE

I already checked the monitor cable and the GPU seems to be working.

I have NOT tried:
- Reseating the RAM
- Using only 1 RAM stick
- Clearing CMOS yet

Could this be a BIOS issue or a CPU issue? Any ideas?

DAC/Amp With IEMS

Hey everyone,

What’s the general situation of the Fosi K5 Pro when used with IEMs?

I’ve read that it might have some issues with white noise, hiss, or higher noise floor, especially compared to cleaner DAC/amps.

I mainly use IEMs and I’m trying to get the best possible sound quality and experience them at their full potential, so I’m wondering how it performs in real use.

Is the noise floor actually noticeable with IEMs in general, or is it not a big deal?

Would you recommend it for IEM use, or are there better alternatives for a cleaner output?

Windows Tweaks

What do you guys think about paid Windows tweaking services/tools like VaxTweaker, SageTweaks, WinTweaks, LatencyX, etc?

Do they actually improve gaming performance in a measurable way (FPS, 1% lows, latency, responsiveness), or are most of them basically placebo/overhyped?

I can understand reducing background processes and optimizing Windows a bit, but some of the claims sound too good to be true.

Has anyone here genuinely tested them against a clean stock Windows install?

Debloated Windows for gaming

What’s the deal with those stripped / debloated Windows builds for gaming?

I know they remove a lot of background services and lower resource usage, but do they actually improve gaming performance in a real measurable way?

A lot of the FPS gains people post feel inflated or inconsistent to me, almost like the frametime/FPS reporting gets messed with.

I’ve been thinking about installing one myself, but I’m still hesitant because I don’t know if the trade-offs are worth it compared to a clean official Windows install.

Has anyone properly benchmarked them against stock Windows?

Hi everyone,
While I was tightening the screw into the motherboard mounting hole, I felt and saw the screw head grinding against the surface. It ended up scratching off the protective layer, and now there are two copper points exposed just outside the silver grounding area.
I stopped immediately and removed the screw. I’m concerned that if I put the screw back in, it might cause a short circuit by touching that exposed copper.
• Is it safe to leave it like this, or is a short circuit likely?
• Should I cover the exposed copper with electrical tape or use a non-conductive washer?
• Looking at the image, does it look like I've damaged any important traces?
