Need encouragement? Comment here

So a few days back I made a post about coming out to my parents and them... Not being accepting. You all were absolutely amazing and were right there for me when my supposed family wasn't. Idk if this is weird or something, but I wanna be that person for someone else. Comment here if you want headpats, "good girl"s, or just "good job" if that isn't your thing, or any other form of encouragement, because you deserve it. I believe in you.

What name do you like best?

I'm considering what I want my name to be. Do you prefer Vivi (short for Vivian), Rose, Alice, or something else? I legit have no clue and am overthinking this sooooo much lol

Edit: I've settled on Vivi. Thank you all for your advice!

Edit 2: wow, I never expected so much attention. You all are awesome!

Need encouragement

I seriously hope this doesn't violate rule 6. Sorry if it does. Just take it down in that case. I'll do my best to not include too much personal details. I don't know how to flair it, I want to flair it as an affirmation request but I think personal stuff would be more appropriate.

So tldr, I came out to my parents a few days back. It... didn't go well, tbh. They're not transphobic, but they decided that I must just be confused or fixated or going though a phase. As if being going though stuff means you must just be confused. Honestly, I took it a lot harder than I thought I would. I usually don't cry. I did. The worst part is what if they're right? I'm not entirely sure myself.

Honestly, I'm doing better today. A lot better. I learned something important too; I don't need their permission to be myself. This has honestly made me more sure of myself than I've been in a while, but I still could really use some encouragement. Y'all are great so I posted here.

Any affirmations or "good girl"s would be appreciated!

Edit: thank you all for the encouragement. You all are amazing!
