Enclosure & Handling Recs?

some pics of my heart & soul for attention lol

i wanted to ask for some advice on handling, because my girl (who i’ve had for about 1.5 years) still hates being handled

ex) chirps when i get too close or try to hold her, breathes heavy (sides visibly moving in and out), and freezes when i come by her tank

also, i was wondering if i could get some feedback on her current enclosure, like any setup adjustments or any other recommendations

I went on a week-long road trip with my parents and left my carpet python in the care of my grandfather. I live in new england and we’ve had a cold start to spring so the room temp in my house has been between 60-65F. I got home from my trip last night and when I checked this morning I realized my snake’s heat lamp had been turned off. I believe my grandfather mistook the switch for his lights and it has been off ever since. I just turned it back on but i’m so worried.

What do i do?! Will he get sick?

Help is very much appreciated 😓

**He is my first snake and I brought him home new year’s eve (so everything is relatively new to me)
