My 7 yo male cat nearly died on Saturday, the ER said if we didn’t take him when he did he would have.

I have added all his bloodwork from Saturday and Monday.

Saturday he was limp, cold and lifeless when we woke up in the morning. No warning signs, no “he might not be feeling well”. No signs. The ER urged us to keep him overnight, however as well all know it is not cheap in any way (I JUST returned to work after a 3 month maternity leave). They got him stable, kept him for 12 hours with fluids and antibiotics. They sent us home with medications (will add a photo) with a plan to get him to a primary vet Monday.

When we returned to the primary vet his kidney values got significantly worse.

Since yesterday he has been drinking, urinating, he is eating small amounts of watered down cat food. He is laying comfortably, jumping on my bed and hasn’t been in a “hunched” position.

If he continues to do well I will return to the vet for follow up bloodwork & a urine test.

My question is, can my cat bounce back from this? Have you seen cats bounce back from this? His kidney values are terrifying but he’s made so much progress since Saturday.
