I have applied for msc. medical engineering and my backround is biomedical engineering. So I want to know what are my chances?

Hi, I completed Biomedical Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in 2024 with a 7.2 CGPA and IELTS 7 band.

I also have 8 months of experience in Product Operations, though it is not directly related to Biomedical Engineering. Now I want to apply for a Master’s in AI in Healthcare/Biomedical AI at good public universities.

I wanted to ask:

- Should I include this work experience in my SOP?
- Will it affect my chances since it is not directly related?
- Is my profile good enough for public universities?
- Should I apply myself or through a consultancy?
