I had fallen behind in my reviews and submitted a flurry of about 13 in the 24 hours before my evaluation period ended. Needless to say, when my account greyed out for reevaluation, many of those reviews were still pending. It remained grayed out for about 30 hours. It appears that the minute the number of approved reviews hit 90%, the evaluation was completed and I was continued in gold status. There are still a few pending approval, and many pending insightfulness scores. Note also that my media stats are very low; as others have said, that does not appear to have had any impact.
