May we all say farewell to my friend from vine 😭 he was repairable at first, but my kids dropped him a second time and he broke into even more pieces beyond repair. One of my favorite vine items I’ve ever received! It sells for $15.99. I may purchase one myself 😪 my family is not as sad as I, but I figure my fellow viners may shed a tear with me lol.
I just got a thermal label printer on Vine. I am not sure if a 3 star rating is too much, what do you think?
The "User Guide" was useless. Wants you to scan the QR code to download software. Can't do that on a PC, did they not think of that? Didn't even put the URL in the 2 small pages of instructions. Had to use Google.
Using their official driver installer and setup program it installed the printer as a plug-in hard drive. Yes, it did. Printing = error. Uninstalled and tried again. Still made the printer D:\
Tried to call TS. The fine gentleman with the Bangladeshi accent wanted me to give him remote access to my computer so "He could fix everything". Nope. No. Don't. I hung up the phone. He was so helpful he called back and when I declined the call he left a message begging me to give him remote access. Blocked the number.
Eventually got it to work by deleting everything and installing the printer manually, just pointing to the folder with the files needed and restarting the computer.
Even though I have no intention of ever printing from my phone I tried downloading their app but it kept glitching out when I tried to scan the QR code. So that doesn't work very well. Eventually deleted the app.
To add insult to injury the EIGHT sample labels in the box were unusable as they were not flat but permanently scrunched at one end. Luckily purchased some labels that work.
Printing is actually pretty good, once installed correctly. I'll keep it. Wish I could have the 4 hours of my life it took to get it working back.
But I don't want to leave a glowing review for something with such an awful install experience. How would you grade the product?
But, will it continue? I'm hopeful at the very least!
I would love ALL these pillow covers but haven't been offered any pillows. The ones I have now are kind of crap. Is there a brand I should keep my eye out for that has good throw pillows, pillows that don't lose their shape, and might be inhospitable to dust mites? Nooooooo. Don't make me read all the reviews myself.
I'm thinking it doesn't pay to report these two for removal from my list, as I don't want to be a "troublemaker" and jeopardize my membership, but I'm open to (polite) input:
I have been out of the loop for a bit since the drop changed to the dribble schedule. Mostly order from RFY. And I've also been very busy. But I got real active again catching up on reviews the past few days. Waiting on evaluation now.
So, it appears that a drop begins around 10 pm EST and just continues to trickle until sometime. Is that kinda correct?
Not sure why i want this… ignore that I might already be married.
A few months back we were around 12K items and now we are at 25K. Almost 50% is automotive and the rest are also related to machinery (eg. under patio). What is going on?

and this the 3rd time in 2 months this comedy routine has happened (usually for a premium item that I really wanted!)
How many others get this ?
Had my first lost package from Amazon in the 6 years I've resided here. Thought I lost one once, but UPS had placed it on my back step I found several days later. Guess who delivered again this instance? Yep. I had already received two delays with the order and Amazon asked me if I still wanted the package which I replied yes. Wasn't meant to be I suppose. Anyway there was an actual picture of it on my porch. Wasn't there when I arrived home an hour later. Have since ordered a doorbell camera (was really against this but c'mon, where is the package? Don't want to accuse anyone of anything without proof). Keep a little brick on the porch the Amazon drivers use religiously to keep small packages from blowing away like a plastic bag in the wind, and have still found them occasionally on the bottom of my step because they tried to escape the clutches of my consumerism.
Sent an email to Vine CS to have it removed, received a reply within a couple minutes along with a link to review the customer service within the same minute. There's just no way turnaround and investigation of the issue could be completed that fast, CS is definitely AI unless an issue needs to be escalated for some reason. Wield your newfound power wisely.
I am an actual fiend for advent calendars - in past years I've gotten at least 3 or 4 from Vine to bless my December with.

So I’ve been a vine voice since 2022. However I guess I’m late to the game with this Reddit stuff lol. So how does it work? Lately my rfy has been royal poop. But I’ve been seeing others having more items then I’ve ever seen, I know sometimes it’s good sometimes not. I’ve gotten some awesome items from vine. But do items that people get in rfy stay there only for those people? Or can the same items show up in AA at the same time? Not sure if this makes sense.
I see quite a few people here grumble about extension users, and complain about amazon not "cracking down" on them. Whats the biggest reason for your beef with them? Working on the assumption that Amazon wont be "cracking down" on them (they have no real reason to), what makes yall so angry about em? Because you could easily use and extension too but you choose not to- why?
I grabbed a touchscreen radio upgrade for one of my vehicles. Got everything out of the box and after watching YT videos of how to install a similar product, I realized my kit is missing the plug connection for the main power supply cable. I went to the seller's Amazon page and they show the cable with the proper connection in the "what's in the box" photos.
Could I reach out to the seller for the correct cable? There is only one other vine review of the item, that just posted June 30th. Not sure if I'd get in trouble with the vine gods??
Otherwise, I'll contact vine CS and ask for it to be removed and credited, since I can't use. But, would really like to use it. Suggestions?
How on earth did this get selected as the product image? I mean, it isn't a brace but still. Yes, this was a Vine item. It wasn't $0 ETV so it didn't get snapped up, but I bet it would have if it was $0 ETV.
