Hey y’all! I‘m planning on reselling my PS4 Pro and I‘m having a little trouble with the disc drive. Years ago, my dad had put a dvd in the drive that wasn’t meant to go in the console and it ended up getting stuck. We managed to get the disc out, but my ps4 thinks that there’s still a disc in the drive. The thing won’t accept any new discs at all and nothing happens when I push eject, it just beeps. I disassembled the console and looked at the drive. It doesn’t seem to have any issues, one of the little gears fell out, but I put it back in place easily. I‘ve been thinking of replacing it, but I want to make sure that‘s the right move. Are there any other solutions to this that could be more convenient?
