My Dad and I went for a drive

I know a GT350 isn’t a wagon but at least mine is. We drove all about, been talking about going on some drives together for years, and being in college makes it hard to find time. I feel like this was the first real one. During that time my dad needed to fuel up and I got to do my first mpg calculation using the Amsoil Cetane additive, for any of you diesel sportwagens, it helps a lot! More pep, and for right now I got 3 more mpg, but in the future it can only get better!

Alternate Universe

Even the photos look biased ha, but I took them within 30secs of each other. Parked on a Street in Portland to check out a Marketplace listing and saw an alternate universe version of my wagon, faded headlights, covered in dust and stock(😭). The little things really do add up!

Looks like something you could spit Mutton into

I was setting the table and these napkins reminded me of that episode where Jerry stuffs a bunch of napkins with mutton and they end up being used as kerchiefs on a couple of dogs

Polishing the wagon; again

Happy Father’s Day all! I wouldn’t have this skill without my father teaching me, I’m very grateful to have had the father I do! Also got to use this new Nano polisher with a 3 inch pad and the random orbital attachment, it made getting to the sill and parts of the rear license plate a breeze! I plan on doing a three step, I’m currently doing a cut with Menzerna 400, and I want to do 1500 next and then jump to some 3000.

Kramer had many runins with Animals, what Animals would the rest of the Gang Have?

I don’t know why but I’d imagine George would have a some sort of bird, that way he’d have the excuse to drape the cage in velvet.

365 Days in a row on Reddit🥀

Over the course of a year, I’ve been coming back everyday to check out other peoples sick Sportwagens, and over the course of a year a lot has happened for mine. Front plate delete, OEM Rear hatch spoiler, OEM Front splitter, fixed up the busted rear ac vent with a complete one from Lithuania, acquisition of of the Unicorn OEM rear bumper body kit (and I still need the diffuser😭), and a Euro Spec steering wheel with paddle shifters (which is yet to be installed). Next I want to make my interior 100% by fixing a tear in the drivers seat, and then get the Euro spec steering wheel, shift boot, and E brake redone by a guy out in New York. As far as performance my next steps are to get a Darkside intercooler and an Aluminum Radiator, and there’s more after that but I’d be yapping for awhile, you guys are awesome! And I’ll keep coming back!

Help Identifying this Mission Style Lamp

Was watching the Green Mile and I love Craftsman/ Mission style furniture and lamps etc. this specific one is very squatty which I like and would be perfect for a side table in my living room. It’s a Mica shade or amber, but the closest thing I could find was the second picture, which isn’t quite the same aesthetic just due to proportions. Also for some reason I can’t even find vintage ones (I would expect an outrageous price). The base is most likely Copper as well just for another detail.

Saw this on Facebook; looks hot

Not sure if it’s real but the proportions are sweet.

New Garage floor, New OEM front lip

Got this Front lip direct from VW, 1 of 3 left in the U.S. according to there database. Had it paint matched about a month ago, and finally got it on. VW does a great job with instructions so everything was easy. Had to use some BMW 2 part Adhesive again though for part of the install. I also had to have the 2 front wheels off for an additional 1 screw on each side that went into a new bracket. While I was there I cleaned up the wheel wells, suspension etc. and put some Ammo Gelee pro (iykyk) on the calipers and suspension. I think it looks sweet, and it adds just a bit more detail and dare I say width to the front.
