2011 Prius V misfiring
My 2011 Prius (not V, ignore title mistake please) with 245,000 miles started misfiring on cold start up yesterday.
When I left work it was so bad that the check engine light came on. I checked the codes and it showed misfire in every cylinder (P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304). The engine eventually smoothed out, my coolant level looked okay, so I drove home.
An hour after getting home I started it again and it misfired again, but not bad enough to set off the check engine light.
Im assuming the EGR system has finally clogged/blown the head gasket. Due to the high mileage, if I'm going to tear into it to replace the EGR valve I plan on doing some other preventative maintenance while I'm at it. This is my plan so far, but I'd welcome other people's advice...
Replace:
EGR valve
PCV valve
Head gasket
Intake manifold
Coolant pump
Spark plugs
Change Oil
Is there anything anyone more experienced would recommend also doing, or anything I plan on doing that would just be a waste of time and money?
