Yamaha jog r performance parts
(Sorry if i spelled anything wrong or a if a sentence isnt correct)
Hi, i have a 2008 Yamaha Jog R.
It has 26k km on it but even with this much kilometres and the fact that its 18 years now its in great shape. It was my grandpas before and he was the first owner of it.
Now that i got my license last year he gave it to me. These past few months i have been gettin comfortable with riding in traffic and stuff so i thought i should spice it up a little.
Since my father has mentioned that i could buy some parts for it.
Since then i have looked into it and found these parts for it:(all from scooter attack)
-Exhaust Stage6 Pro Replica MK2 Black Minarelli horizontal
-Carburetor Dellorto 17.5mm PHBN (ofcourse with a main jet kit) (Do i need a pilot jet kit for it?)
-CVT Kit Polini Hi-Speed Minarelli long / Aerox
-i have been eyeing with an Intake Kit Stage6 MK2 Minarelli horizontal and a stage6 air filter. Do you think that it will make that big of a difference on the setup?
- my father said that since now it revs up faster i should get a clutch for it because it might slip, is he right? And if he is right then which clutch should, i get and do i need a clutch bell too?
My father also said that sometime in the summer i could get a 70cc kit for it so i went ahead and looked for some, and my decision landed on a stage6 70cc streetrace because i really want it to be somewhat reliable too not just fast so i will definitely go with a cast iron one. Will this setup be able to not bottleneck that cylinder?
Also it has recently been to a mechanic who tested compression and he said that its close to the minimum value. Do you think that it will hold on until i get that cylinder in the summer?
I think that these are all my questions for now but will definitely be back.
