Hi guys ik there’s better shoes out there for hiking but I really like the salomon’s xt6 cause I can also use it for casual wear (I hike/trail like maybe 2-3x a month?) I dont do challenging hikes just the moderate ones that’s why I dont want to buy those shoes purely for hikes 😅. I have kinda wide feet?? but I tried the xt6 and it was pretty good and comfortable. Should I go for the xt6? or the gore tex? is the goretex worth buying as a casual hiker? It’s kinda expensive 😭 can the xt6 withstand muddy and wet trails?

Edit: I wont be picking the white one, just tried one for the sizing. For casual easy hike trails, what shoes do yall recommend? as I just started hiking last month and would definitely do more!
